How do you guys approach while at work? I work in retail as a cashier and get quite a few ladies check me out while they're waiting in line.

I used to work in a book store, so I sometimes negged them about their purchases, e.g. gave them shit for buying shit like Twilight and Harry Potter.

I worked during the time where 50 Shades Of Grey was flying off the shelves, and I made a LOT of sexual negging (e.g. "that book is tame compared to what I can offer").

Basically, just comment on what the people are buying. Keep it playful, but remember - they are giving YOU money. YOU are in control.

I don't... I've worked in several cubicle ish environments and will probably be doing that for a long time. Hardly any women.

I also follow the advice of, not shitting where you eat.

Bit afraid of sexual harassment and it's only office co worker.

instead of asking them how they are, how about asking them a "future question", for example: "How's it going, up to anything exciting the rest of the week?" and go from there. Since you don't have much time, have a card or something handy.
