you literally say whatever comes to your mind man don't over think it man just be natural. i am not one for canned openers but if i cant think of anything funny or witty to say i just say "Hello, my name is Blank" and go for an extended handshake, i do this because it gets you physical right off the break with the girl so that way there is no awkward moments in the conversation. the longer you wait to go physical the weirder it is. and i literally walk up with my handout to shake her hand as i introduce my self.
