You just need to push through and approach alone until it becomes auto poilot. For example, I ended work at 9 pm and I was walking through the streets and saw two girls. One had the most fantastic ass ever. Before I knew it I was already beside them and have already said "hey i'm looking for xyz do you guys know where it is". I've literally done so many approaches that it's just auto pilot for me, after the approach I thought "wow I didn't even feel anything doing that" because it has become so common for me.

Don't worry it's not weird it's just the weakness leaving your body. Dispose of weakness like you would a used condom. Gingerly but with gusto.

I think it has to do with having a someone to fall back on. Going alone you only have one activity: shopping by yourself. With a friend you have two activities: shopping with your friend and dickin around with your friend. With yourself it's a lot harder to break the silence of your inner thoughts because you're not talking with anyone. Your mouth isn't ready to talk to anyone. With a friend because you're communicating, your social self is warmed up and ready to go.

So I'd say if there's a way you can stimulate yourself to entertain yourself alone, then do it. It might take a few cashiers or old ladies to talk to but once you break it I think it'll help.
