So I was fooling around on OKC today and I messaged a gal and she messaged back, still hitting my relatively high ROI of 1-2 out of 10 messages getting a response. Great! She's around my age, cute, and we briefly chat, she likes my profile, so I suggest a date. We try a few different ideas, neither works (timing) so at the last minute she suggests I meet her at the park for a walk.

We meet - I had already planned on offering her a hug. She actually looks like her pictures! Yay! I immediately hug her, and then immediately grab her hand. Within a minute or two, I'm kissing her. I just took the opportunity, didn't hesitate. She told me she "had never kissed on the first date," I just chuckled and kissed her more, we ended up making out up and down the park and chatted for about 40 minutes or so. I felt so proud of myself.

It's conceivable (based on how we made out) that I could have gone for the f-close but she had her dog, her house was two blocks away with two teenage kids in it (that were waiting for her)... and schtupping in the park really isn't my style. Logistics just didn't permit it.

But the stuff I've been reading here is really helpful - reminding myself that women really do like it when men take charge and are forceful. And funny thing - it feels good for us too! Eeeeveryone is happy.

I'm seeing her again this Tuesday, for another "walk," perhaps dinner. She blurted out that she wished I had brought my swim trunks so we could sneak into her jacuzzi at her house (with her kids around I guess..... errr).... anyways I'm still new at being single so this is damn good enough progress for me.

(BTW I also have a date tomorrow with another lady, coffee shop, and then another one on Thursday... so I'm all booked up. Thanks online dating!)

I think I could probably f-close by my next meeting with her if I set it up right. What do you think?
