About a year ago, I found myself desperate to start a love life, but I didn't have many friends to go out and practice with. I tried going out solo, but I had a hard time getting in state. Most of the time I would pace around the bar not talking to anyone.

That's when I decided to join the lair in my city. They had multiple meetups every week and, looking back, joining was the single best thing I did to improve my game. It provided me with ample opportunities to go out with other guys as well as friends to hang out with. Now, when I travel to a new city, even if I don't know a soul in the area, I can go out at night with that city's lair.

If you want to get good at this but you're starting from square one, start a lair in your city or join an existing lair. The best way to learn is to do it with someone else.

The existing lairs are listed on the sidebar and there are still major cities that don't have them yet. Do yourself a favor and get involved in one.
