A) go back to whatever you were doing and look back after awhile and make eye contact again.

B) Go talk to her

C) be a bitch

Repeat until you choose B

You know, there's a few reasons why breaking eye contact happens:

They stopped paying attention
They're shy
It's kind of weird to stare at each other for long periods of time without at least looking around now and again
Eye contact is something that shouldn't be avoided or forced - it should just happen as a natural extension of you being able to look at people when you talk to them. So, the other person didn't realize you put THAT much value on it

I swear, people mythologize eye contact. Yes it's important. Yes it's effective when it matters. But it's not like an antibiotic pill where if you miss once you're fucked. If people break eye contact once or twice during a conversation, who cares?

Now, if someone is NEVER giving you eye contact, that's a hint to fuck off. But once or twice? Just carry on as if you didn't notice, because it doesn't matter.

If im in conversation and past that hook point, then I don't break contact unless I need to.

Ever seen Arnold Schwarzenegger lately when he speaks with people? Its so powerful how he talks to someone, he keeps eye contact, they turn their head, their body even, and talk into the camera or crowd or whatnot... And Normally this would make someone in Arnold's position seem of lower value, but you'll notice, Arnold never moves.

His body will stay with the person as well as his head and eye contact. And when they look back, this ALWAYS happens (from what I've seen) They're always taken aback in a "whoa, fuggin Arnold just stared me down, even WHILE I TURNED AWAY FROM HIM.. that's awesome as shit, he never backed down"

He never loses value since he is a solid wall. He knows they will turn back to him & then he delivers a solid line, OR he Then will break the eye contact himself in a "yeah bitch, I made you look back, now IM going to turn away"

Its amazing to see him do that.
