You are seducing not smothering. It's a dance. Chat her up, leave her wanting more, then return later to reel her in some more. When you have piqued her interest invite her back to your place to see something cool. It doesn't really matter what. In fact you can say it's a surprise, and just start making out when you get there. If she says she doesn't want to leave, go talk to someone else, then maybe check back later. Don't seduce just one girl at the party. Seduce them all.

Don't! Remember, you're the life of the party. Do you think Brad Pitt would worry about that girl talking to another guy when he went to piss? Hell no. He'd just start chatting up other girls. It's a captive audience so you'll generally talk to her later. And you might meet another one instead.

Go talk flirt with other girls ;). Sounds weird but I do this as part of a tactic for out clubbing and it works wonders, it makes alot of the girls extremely jealous and they will start to take passes at you. Then you just pick the one you want and escalate.
