I think really the frame you need to set is that sex and stuff is just a really casual/relaxed thing for you. That way you could have a thing with them and make no big deal about it + not tell anyone, they wouldnt feel bad or weird about it, and wouldnt be concerned about you overthinking it or creating awkwardness or ruining the friendship etc, cause its part of your frame that you dont do that.

Don't be so worried about things getting awkward -- life often gets awkward anyway, you might as well go for it with the women you are attracted to or feel a connection with.

Assertive : having or showing a confident and forceful personality.

I don't know exactly why you'd want to be a forceful person, but you're stuck in that classic "don't want to ruin our friendship" bullshit that I always see here.

Here are your options

Do nothing and ponder about what could have been
Do something and have a nice relationship with one of the girls
Do something and it's a short fling and you guys are still friends after
Do something and you guys suddenly arent friends after

We've been going out on weekends and I've been getting along with everyone but I haven't made any advances because of the situation.

What situation? I'm just gonna read between the lines and say you sound pretty scared to make a move.

You can't predict the future, well actually you can;If you don't make a move then nothing will happen, at least that's certain :)

Instead of feeling like you have to take one side of this(friends vs romance), just have fun with your nights out. Don't play a role you have to follow around certain people, be yourself.
