I know the general consensus on seddit is that there is no text game and you cannot build attraction via that channel but does that still apply to the same extent after you are adamant that the attraction is there? Does the texting style change from “short and aloof” to a little bit more in-depth and frequent? Keep in mind, not looking for a way to start a relationship here but to keep her interest long enough till next date. Background: f closed this girl last Friday on third date and the sex was so mind-blowingly awesome that I want to bring her in for another round. Before Friday she is the one to arrange for a day date on Sunday but I wake up that morning only to have her blow me off under the pretense that she needs to study. I shake it off (I was hungover as hell and wouldn’t be up for it anyways) and tell her to reach out to me when she frees up but tell her to meet up for coffee later in the evening. She ignored the coffee suggestion completely. At this point I was going to lay low for a few days and get in touch later but next morning she messages me first. The conversation though wasn’t going how I wanted (too much talk about every day crap and her complaining about her school work). Then it’s the same song and dance – conversation dies down, I lay low, she reaches out next day but doesn’t contribute to the convo. I tried a handful of things – from being supportive of her struggles and giving advice to openly teasing her about her hardships. Either strategy always ends up in the same place. Now I reverted back to texting infrequently as if the sex never happened and we are back to step 1. So, now, I have one of two possible conclusions. 1) She is keeping me within her reach with those meaningless texts while she is trying it out with some other guy. 2) Somewhere along the lines I fucked up in my text game to the point that I have to build attraction all over again (or drop it completely). Any tips for the future? If this has already been explored in some other thread please send me a link. I am new to seddit and looked through the FAQs but most of it is designed for “getting the girl” not “what the fuck do I do to keep the girl.” In my mind, you can’t keep using the same strategies at that stage.
