Here's an old-school pick-up exercise as a baby-step.

Go to a mall with a bunch of stores. (don't bring money so you're not tempted to shop).

Go into every store and talk to each store clerk.

Ask "Got anything that would make a good gift for a stocking stuffer?"

They'll point something out, then you can smile and say, to exit, just say "OK, thanks! I'm just looking around."

-After about 3 or 4 stores, it's a tiny bit of social momentum.

The variations: "I'm looking for a gift for my grandma/uncle/godfather/etc"

"Thanks for talking to me,

Advanced I: Pick up a fellow-shopper after talking to the clerk and go for mall junk food insta-date.

Advanced II: Pick up a store clerk.

Advanced III: Pick up a fast food girl...

Advanced IV: Make out with your mall pick-up in the parking lot...

....

Advanced XCMXI: Have your baby in the mall.

What are your hobbies?

If you can list at least 3 things you like to do, go and find local clubs/social organizations that hosts those hobbies. Therefore you can meet others who have that same interest and see women(of course :)) and start from there.

AA is really tough and I still have it sometimes. Like you said baby steps and practice makes perfect. Good luck
