Instead of asking her if you can come along with her for a few minutes, why not ask if she wants to stop at a coffee shop or something? Following her home or whatever sounds weird.

Also it sounds like you need to improve conversational skills. Pick up on cues of things she says to keep the conversation going. Like her telling you she plays sports, bridge that into further conversations about sports in general, what she plays, why she likes it, etc.

well with these situations its always a win-win scenario. either she says yes and you go to next step or she says no and you will still have learned something and be proud of the fact you did something that wasn't easy to do. this will make you grow as a person.

for your plan though i would maybe not be so specific about what you want to tell her or what you would like to happen (i.e. having a more in depth talk when walking together). rather i would say let things happen naturally and try not to push it. if you are already exchanging some small talk then most likely you will keep doing that and at some point naturally you will get to talk more deeply about things. if this doesn't happen well then maybe it was simply not meant to be. and this is not a bad thing but a good thing really because it goes both ways; she was not right for you and you not for her. in my experience with these things is that you cannot plan or push things they have to come naturally. also personally i have spent too much energy being obsessed about this or that girl not really taking my time to ask myself if she was right for ME but rather being insecure about if I was right for HER. facts is bro that you are gold and you shouldn't sell yourself to easy ;) but all in all its a good to have the balls to approach her and do some more conversation thats for sure. get to know her better and ask yourself if she is what you want and need. all the best of luck to ya!

First of all, how old are you and her. If you're young as in high school, she'll probably be awkward about the situation no matter how you spin it. Generally, you shouldn't be trying to figure out how to have longer conversations with a girl in class. You need to get her number and set up a date from there. Do you have her number? If you don't, make up an excuse to get, if you're in class ask her a question and then get her number and tell her it's so you can ask about anything else that you may need help with.

As for walking with her after class, I would just come into class and sit next to her as soon as you see her and start chatting. She already knows you, so you're good. Sit down, start chatting, go through the class, at the end start chatting with her again and just be like, where are you headed to? If she's going in the same direction as you say, cool i'm going to xyz, let's walk together. And bam start walking. If she's interested she'll accept and be down.

Also, stop obsessing over this girl. You're going to be crushed if it turns out she's not interested in you or she already has a boyfriend. You need an abundance mentality. So put your effort into this girl but don't get invested, you barely even know her. If she's receptive to your efforts awesome, if she isn't you should let that roll off your back and search for other girls to talk to.
