Text Game - Do and Don'ts?

Normally I keep my texts short and to the point. And I usually end the text convo first, rather than allow the girl to end it when she stops responding. That being said, there are no rules... text her when you feel like it, text her if you genuinely want to know something and don't worry about playing these mind games. But as a rule of thumb keep the interaction one-to-one, meaning give as much as she gives back... don't be texting her 5 messages in a row when she gives you two word replies.

with the texting game, i've started to see this bird and she's all like "Im a horrible texter and it gets boring if we speak all day over text we have nothing to speak about when we meet."

I used to think this way, but you shouldn't think like this and avoid texting her because you feel like you will run out of things to say. When you meet a girl in person, in order to keep talking you need to completely unfilter yourself mentally. Don't think in your head exactly what you're gonna say ahead of time, besides a topic or two maybe...don't think in your head "will I seem cool, or what would she think, if I say this" before saying something. If you form an agenda in your head and over-think what you're gonna say you'll just add pressure to yourself and increase your chances of getting nervous or drawing a blank. Normally there is no end to what you can talk about, as you find out more about her each detail can branch off to its own conversation so put more of your brain power into listening rather than conjuring up topics in your head. When I say unfilter yourself, say anything that comes to mind. When you are with a buddy, your mind is automatically unfiltered and you don't worry about what to say and you're not afraid of running out of things to say. My favorite people to hangout with are friends with whom I can be completely unfiltered and share long moments of silence with in total comfort. That's the kind of comfort level you want to have with a girl, it shows confidence; let her worry about what to say.

You can text her a bit just don't do it all day and don't send another text until she's responded to you. Also don't respond to her immediately, make her wait a little bit and then respond to her. Save the long conversations for when you're in person with her, you won't gain rapport with her as much with texts than you will in person.

How was your day/generally caring/something that made me think of you/be nice

If you're floundering/don't have anything to say -- end the convo"I'll talk to you later" or make plans to meet up. Don't dilly-dally.
