At what point does a shit test differ from bad behavior? Are they always the same thing? I’ve had some issues with my frame lately due to some medical/chronic pain problems, and I’ve definitely seen an effect from my long term girl in terms of the respect she gives me.

We were recently at a social event out of state, and she insulted me in public in front of my friends. I was so caught off guard that I didn’t have a good response. If this was a shit test, I clearly failed it for allowing this behavior. I’m struggling with the best way to respond, and just how to deal with bad behavior in general. Normally I’m quite talkative and outgoing, so my go to move with her is the freeze out, where I don’t pay much attention to her when we’re together. I did this on the long ride home, and it worked well, and she got all worked up and turned on and jumped me when we got back.

Moving forward, do I address the issue with her? I want to warn her that if she insults me in public like that again, this will be over, but I also don’t want to come off too beta/sensitive.

So basically, how do you punish bad behavior, and how do you differentiate this from a shit test? I’ve worked hard to maintain a solid RP frame for this relationship, which is coming up on a year now, and have noticed she’s been getting more mouthy. It's a shame because besides that she meets a lot of my other requirements, feminine, submissive, cleans up my place, etc. Any advice appreciated.
