A good scent may work in your favor a bit, but don't depend on it. Don't even expect a woman to comment on it. Everything else is what's going to get you laid. Find a fragrance, shower consistently, and work on everything else as well.

I hear Invictus is pretty popular.

You have to try scents on your own skin...since your body chemistry alters the scent. Something that works for me just may not work for you. Go to a cologne counter and use it as an opener...asking women (who are hot) which of the two scents (on your wrists) smells better. And, it takes some time for the scent to burn in.

Take a friend with who is a girl or your sister out with you and just tell them, pick a cologne. There are hundreds of choices and a lot of them don't smell very good.

Bring a girl that likes you that you know has good taste and see what her reactions to the smell are. I had two girlfriends in a row who picked out the exact same cologne for me without really knowing about it. (I didn't ever wear that cologne with the 2nd gf until she bought it for me)
