Dear puaCurveBall,

In 2011, you posted this and I am eternally grateful for you doing so. You see, I haven't been feeling up to snuff lately; I have been dealing with a depressive mindset, perceived the world bleakly, I have isolated myself for quite some time, and I've been thinking about suicide daily the last couple of months.

That changed when I saw your post and I wish more people would check the sidebar before doing anything else. You gave examples of the mindset you tried to step into and I did as you suggested. However, contrary to you, I used your phrases, and my own, as positive affirmations; I would repeat them every day before going out of the house and then multiple times throughout the day right until one last time before I fell asleep.

This helped me greatly; I am now completely devoid of any negative thoughts and I've cut countless of negative influences out of my life (mainly people). Before I get that "hollow" feeling inside, I simply remember the sentences and repeat them and I feel more amazing than ever.

Doing this time, I've reinvented myself. I have gotten a better sense of fashion, I've lost weight (and I started lifting weights now with amazing results), and I've been having one success with women after the other. I have learned to only focus on myself and become outcome-independent. Nothing fazes me anymore and I am working hard on becoming a better version of myself.

Should anyone read this, I want to leave you with some kind-hearted words. You should take the time to go through the sidebar. It's not just about picking up women, it's about finding the best version of yourself. Finding the best version of yourself is so vital before you try and talk to the cute girl on the street or in the bar. You will be met with rejections no matter how fit you are, how interesting you are, and how bold and courageous you are, but having a strong inner game keeps you from letting it get to you. You are the single most amazing person on the planet. Everyone looks to you for inspiration and everything you do causes ripple in people's lives. You should aim to live a life in which you are control and not let anything else get in your way. You should do you in such a fantastic way that anyone wants to tag along just to feel better. Be a value giver, but be a value giver in a way you get to keep your integrity. You rock.

puaCurveBall, you changed my life for the better. Thank you for having this effect on my life. I am eternally indebted to you. I quite literally owe you everything.

Yours Sincerely,
