Maybe she's one of those girls that has to feel a connection before doing the deed. It sounds like you were definitely trying but maybe came off as not genuine and she picked up on it? You said she was a Psych. major. I'm sure individuals in that field of study pick up on non-verbal clues.

I think you moved too fast and weren't being enough of a challenge. This is seduction in a nutshell: if you show the right qualities but leave her wondering how much you like her, she will come to you at least some of the way.

This girl sounds like a tough cookie, and that's most of the problem to be fair. If you had kissed her in the bar it would have been worth a shot to take her home. Now you just look like you were trying to get laid. You would have done better to end the date earlier and leave her guessing.
