Often girls will ask some variation of this question trying to get me to tell them why I chose to approach them or why I am interested in them. I.e: "What's so special about me?"

I've gotten questions like this in the past from girls and often it is really just them attempting to fish for compliments and can be treated as a shit test. E.g.:"I really like your socks".

However sometimes it comes from an insecurity or a genuine need to check that I don't just want to fuck them (if that's not something they want).

So, should I always treat it like a shit test and give it a bullshit answer? Or, if not, how do I address the concerns behind this question without losing value?
