You need to do your usual activities and text back during breaks or when you're done your activity. If your the type of person who is always on your phone, try to put it away when you're around other people or doing things.

I think instantly texting her back shows that shes the more important thing in your life at thay moment. Whereas if you take a little while to respond it seems like you are doing something else. I usually mimic how long they take. If they take a minute or 2, I take a few.

I would only use texting to set up a meeting or convey needed information.

Having full conversations via text is pointless. You might as well be talking to anybody. Not to mention her impressions of you via texting will be impossible to match when you're physically together.

If you always have the time to text back instantly, you should find some things to do in your life.

I guess (some might disagree) it's not terrible to text back one evening or something when you really don't have anything else to do, but don't do it all the time.

don't play the texting game, just text when you want too. But don't always be on your phone when your around people as that can become annoying towards your friends.
