The Red Queen by Matt Ridley is a great book that looks at the Human Mating ritual from a zoological and evolutionary perspective. It's not explicitly specific on body language, but it is very much worth a read if you want to look at human behavior rather than just how to game.

Just remember these things:

1) always judge signs in CLUSTERS. Never make an assumption based on one cue.

2) Never rely on what you see 100%. Not even 90%.

3) Interpret in context. Closed body language may be actually a person that is being cold.

4) Be skeptical about EVERYTHING you read. Never get a body language book that isnt written by a world renown expert. There is a LOT of garbage.
