People are so receptive to random conversations with strangers. It's all part of the festival experience and without it, a festival would not be the same.

What I always do is have strong eye contact, smile, and say "Hi. Are you having a good time?"

No need to mess around with complicated intros. This is a natural, easy conversation starter that starts with them saying "yes!"

I don't go to festivals but I'm sure it's not too different than game anywhere else. Once you "have game" it can be applied anywhere ..there aren't secret moves you can pull somewhere and not other places. And if there are "moves", most often it's just bs routines people make up and use as a crutch.
