Really appreciate the advice, had the same experience, wouldn't call her 10/10, but I pulled an intelligent, gorgeous girl, a little too low self esteem, but no one's perfect and had her asking for a relationship after about a week, ended about two weeks ago, because of the social pressure from her Mom not liking me and her having a full plate/too stressed for a serious relationship that's already stressful because of said social pressure.
Feel a lot better than I did now, looking back, it made me miserable to not be able to run my own relationship how I chose, since she had control over our relationship (e.g. frequency of dates/even having dates) she vicariously controlled my emotional well being. Already did 7 approaches from the hole that I dug myself. I'm going to keep improving, and keep relearning my technique, confidence, and process.
You experienced amazing highs, proved to yourself you could get a girl like that. Don't ever convince yourself you won't do it again. It's ok to feel like shit sometimes, just make sure that you keep moving forward and accept that with highs come lows. If you keep moving forward, the highs will come again, I promise.

The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly colored, and it's very loud, and it's fun...for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, "Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, "Hey, don't worry; don't be afraid, ever, because...it's just a ride."
When I get nervous I remember this and then I put my hands up in the air and scream (figuratively) as the coaster makes another huge drop.

Happiness is a state of mind. So no, dating a 10/10 woman does not in of itself produce happiness, and no, happiness does not come from just the sex.
However, dating a fantastically beautiful woman or just a woman you're extremely attracted to in general can be a huge supplement to happiness…but it should never be your sole reason for it.
The sex part is, of course, awesome….but the real thrill comes with the ego-boost and self-validation you get when a girl like that likes or even loves you. Girls like that have so many high-quality options and the fact that they want and chose to date you is such a huge shot to the self-esteem….it's unlike any drug you can take.
At the end of the day, whether you're a guy dating a beautiful woman or a woman dating a great looking-guy….these qualities will only take you so far and then all you'll have left is compatibility, comfort, and trust. If you have none of those things, everything else fades and turns to shit. Physical attraction is one variable in the equation.
