If you didn't want something serious, how did you end up in something serious enough that it had to end via "break up?"

Sounds like you're leading women on, or not being honest with them. Of course they're gonna get hurt!

If you learn how game works and you become confident and sure of yourself you don't need to lie to a girl. When you lie to a girl you are setting her up for an emotional crash. If you tell a girl upfront that you only want to have fun and that your relationship is not serious she might be disappointed but she knows where she stands with you. If you lie to a girl and tell her you love her she will find out one way or another.

Men lie because they don't think they are good enough the way they are and so they need to fabricate a lie that they think the girl wants to hear.

There is no good reason to lie to women. It just creates chaos.

Because I just broke up with a rather amazing girl because she wanted something serious and I didn't just yet and I kind of want to hang myself I feel so awful. I've never been the one breaking up, how do I live with this?

You did the best you could and as long as you didn't intend to be a dick, you're fine. Just try to learn from it. Next time, make sure you have a talk with her about what you want out of the interaction, at LEAST after the first kiss or after you have sex.

You'll get through. Just make sure you don't toy with her by coming back if you know you won't stay. Don't contact her, at least for a long while. Give her space and time to get over you. Hope and wish the best for her and move on the best you can.

I suffer the same problem, but remember, it is your life. You are not obligated to want something more. Is it sad that a great person like her didn't end up getting what she wants? Sure! Is her life over? No!

Edit: People shouldn't expect to get what they want because they are nice. Yes, that isn't only for neckbeards, it works for everyone.

I have been through the same thing and I don't regret it anymore. Girls come and go I just know this for some time now, and I fucked up yeah, I wont beat my self up for that, but SHE isn't the only amazing girl around.

Be clear in your intentions from the get go, and nobody gets hurt. If you don't want something deep and emotional, don't spend all day and night talking...

You develop your game more, make it clear from the start you won't commit but you will love her. Only do that if that's what you prefer, you have your own preferences don't let pimp mentality get in the way of your pursuit of happiness. If she doesn't want that let her go she's in the way of your path.

Sounds like you need to think about this some more. No guy breaks up with an amazing girl on purpose. I am guessing that one of two things happened:

1) You felt better than her because you figured she would always be there. When you broke up with her, you realized that she was just being good to you because she cares about you and not because she thinks you are better than her, so now you regret your decision. However, you don't want to admit that you changed your mind so fast (humans always want to appear consistent) so you are searching for excuses.

2) (this is rare) you just have major intimacy issues, maybe your parents went through a nasty divorce or rampant infidelity, or maybe you are still scarred from a really bad breakup or something.

If it's 1, just get over yourself and try to get her back. If she doesn't want you any more, move on.

If it's 2, then get those issues fixed. You will never be happy if you can't get close to women.

Life is too short to beat yourself up about things you don't have control over. You don't want something serious, she does. You didn't do anything wrong. Life is painful enough as it is, don't contribute to your own misery.

Ok, I've hurt a couple women in the past. In my defense, it was always over a textual misunderstanding, but the memories linger.

If she's crying, apologize and let her cry it out. Crying's healthy and she'll get over it faster than if she doesn't. Sometimes cat gifs help.

If you piss her off...this really depends on if you're in the right. If you believe you're right, don't back down because she isn't pleased with everything you say and do. If you did something stupid, think or talk it out.
