I had the craziest day today. Around noon, a girl I've been getting to know, let's call her Kate, (taking it slow since we work together) came to visit me. While we're talking she blurts she has a date with a coworker tonight. I was a little stunned and asked him I knew him. At that exact moment, someone frantically asks for help solving some stupid problem. She backs away with a devilish grin on her face and goes back to her station Ina another building.

A little later an old FWB stops by and I tell the story, let's call her Emily. Emily and I had to stop hooking up because she is, by her own admission, mentally unstable and emotionally needy. Emily invites me her place after work to do some recreational drugs. An hour into it, she begins asking and begging to have sex. I said I was too high. At one point she completely undressed told me to meet her in her room. She explicitly stated she wanted to fuck as soon she heard Kate was trying to make me jealous with news of her date.

The kicker to me is Kate texted me after her date, telling me how bad it was and asking me what Emily is to me. I told her the rumors are true and then some. She kept texting and reminded me she's free this weekend. Is this dread game on accident? Why does this work even when you're aware of it?
