It depends on the woman. I'm of the opinion that your looks are important, but you should just focus on making the most of yourself. Work out, eat healthy, dress nicely, work on your body language and let it go. Everyone gets rejected.

Yes agree here its more importantly about grooming yourself, dressing clean, just cleaning up in general. Guys are not pretty creatures but girls like a guy who presents himself well. Look up style magazines ect. Guys can do a lot to improve just by styling up a little.
With all that said girls respond more to confidence than any other attribute a man can posses, I've seen girls prefer the 5'8 skinny dude to some 6'4 super buff guy all because the 5'8 kid was smooth as hell and portrayed awesome confidence.

Yeah, confidence is definitely important. I'm only 5'8" myself, and have had girls that were into me when there taller and better looking guys around. Just gotta work with what you have to the best of your abilities!
