Snapchat is amazing for keeping things going while your apart. Not just for long distance but for local girls as well.

Having a snapstory has a few benefits.

1, it allows you to see who's consistently following you. If a girl is watching all of your stories then she's interested. Unlike other social media that's just a random feed, you can't look at someone's snaps unless you purposefully click on them. 2. It allows you to show that you have a life outside of this girl.

Women want to feel like they're joining your fun. Not like they're your only source of entertainment or happiness. They like to feel wanted, not needed, and having a snapstory of interesting things shows that. It's a way to humblebrag to a girl about the fun youre having without having to do it directly to her.

I've had multiple instances where a girl will cancel a date or something, and then I'll go out with friends, drink and get a bunch of crazy fun snaps and selfies with random girls in the club. And you know what? That girl will watch my story and then feel regret for not hanging out with me.

I'm not a woman, but when a girl cancels a date with bullshit plan, I assume part of them thinks "lol, I bet he's pretty pissed I cancelled on him" which I am no doubt. But snapchat allows me to go and convey the opposite indirectly.

It goes from her thinking "haha I was his only plans" to seeing "oh wow he picked up new plans no problem, and he's having so much fun, who's this girl? shit I should have gone out"

I do it all the time. And then I'll get a text the next day something like "haha wow looks like you had a fun night...sorry I had to [Insert bullshit excuse here]" and I garuntee you they won't flake again.

TL;DR snapchat allows you to show you have your own life without directly telling them. Also gives you a good idea of who's currently interested in you.

Pros of snapchat are I feel that you keep each other in your minds when you check who has viewed each other's stories. Also I feel like you aren't as categorized in a woman's mind as an orbiter as quickly as you would on instagram when you like her pictures.
