And you don't have to get too deep into your life anyways. Normal small talk, coupled with flirting (a combination of self amusement and sexual tension) is enough to be a nice interaction.

Talk about whatever is on your mind. If getting high and watching South Park is all there is to you, then that's what you talk about. You're only ever going to connect with other lazy stoners, but if that's who you are, so be it.

Hopefully you want to have a more interesting life than that, so get out there and do some more interesting things! You'll become a more interesting person, you'll have more interesting things to say, and you'll attract more interesting people.

P.S. You can also improve your conversational skills by going beyond the surface layer. Don't just talk about stuff that happened. Talk about emotions, aspirations, ideas, etc.
