There was a thread about ashley madison and someone joked that they'd rather be gay because it would be so easy. Jokes aside, that kinda rings true for me.

I went to a gay club with friends a while ago (I am 100% straight), and had several guys hitting on me / approaching me, ranging from the Sergeant Sleaze to the respectful guy who actually tries to have a conversation and is honest about what he's going for. Also, one of the yoga instructors at the place I go to is really touchy, quite flamboyant, and he has tried to give me his number to 'hang out'. So not 100% that he's gay, but yeah, all signs point to it..

The question is, what does this say about me and what attracts certain people to me? I'm usually invisible to most girls. Might be 'resting serial killer face' there or general lack of confidence. I don't think I dress in any way that makes me come across as gay, generally shirt and jeans.

Do guys just care about looks only and not notice a lack of confidence which girls do notice? Is it possible my fashion is that bad but guys are just oblivious to this?

And yes I know going to a gay club is kind of asking for approaches to happen, but there is an overall trend, these are just a few examples.
