You are asking the wrong question. It is not about how to be heard. The question is, "how to I get people to listen?"

Most guys talk too fast and too loud, it gives the impression you have to blurt everything out before people stop listening to you. That's the best way to insure people do stop listening to you. It is better to speak more softly, with pauses, like you assume people are hanging on your every word.

If people interrupt you, stop what you were saying. Don't return to the subject. If people want to hear you, they will ask you to finish. And don't repeat yourself, that makes you look desperate to be heard.

The most important part is grabbing attention. Even if you speak quietly, everyone will listen if they are paying attention. If you're in a discussion when everyone is talking, go like "Hey guys, hey guys, look..." and make yourself seen either with hand movements or posture.

Learn to grasp the rooms attention as I've learned, regardless of how loud the room is people will take the time to listen to you.
