Feeling of value is something I have always struggled with. Looking back it probably stems from bad experiences throughout high school where I was pretty much made to feel like I had no chance since I was admittedly a very ugly teenager (braces, sever acne, super scrawny).

Since then I have come leap and bounds having become more confident and better socially and also on a superficial level I look a lot better. But I still struggle to put myself out there, be vulnerable and approach. The only time I give my permission to approach is when I get a validation boost some point in the night. If I don't get any results after a while my self image falls apart and feelings of having no value like I did in high school come back.

I want to be able to carry myself with a deeper sense of value and not judge myself through how I am being validated by other people. I want to be able to approach an attractive girl and not let it effect my own value if I get rejected. Are there any other members on here who have gone through the process of developing an unshakable sense of value and have any tips?
