I've banged girls at work before. One time it worked out and actually resulted in a pretty good year-long relationship with a smokeshow, and the other couple times it blew up in my face and made things miserable and awkward for awhile.

You realize by posting it here...that some dudes can't help themselves but say "don't shit where you eat," right? It's the seddit party line...people passing their self-limiting beliefs to newbies...

I have no problem with you asking her out as long as you:

1) Change it from "if" to "how" and figure out the how yourself, 2) Ask her out it the absolute next time you see her, and 3) Kiss her on the first date.
