i like the idea of going through stages like Opening, Building Trust, Qualifying, Comfort Building and Kino. I like this because it gives me a framework to point my conversation towards instead of just babbling on till she shows me IOI's.

What I always do before I go out is read my favourite online newspaper and scan for articles I find interesting, current and relevant. Im pretty good at bringing these up later when I have nothing to say and speaking about it to others in a way that shows my interest. I usually then ask people what they think about the issue and challenge them to develop the central idea further. People are usually interested in someone who is themselves interested.

Conversation should be like jazz. If you don't have anything to say, get up and walk around.. Give her space, enjoy the surrounding, you will soon find something to talk about.
