Americans on seddit, have you PERSONALLY known an Indian guy that had a lot of success in your country?

One of my friends does well for himself, and is also indian. All the same principles apply. Not like there is a magic bullet for white dudes that wouldnt work for a brown guy.

Australian here (same thing as USA, most of the population is English speaking and white), and yeah I've met two Indians that destroy the stereotype, even though they were born in India and have an accent. Honestly, when I hang out with them I'm don't see them as "indian", I see them as just fucking cool guys. One of them has multiple girlfriends (of different races ranging from white Australian to African), and just the other week fucked 6 girls in one day. The other is an absolute baller and has all sorts of people wanting to hang around him because he's so fun. I know he's had girlfriends too. Here's the things they do that have helped them be successful:

*They treat people really well - they are social and give praise and acknowledgment to everyone around them. They put themselves out there and aren't afraid of what people think.

*They are both very physically fit, and love going to the gym to lift weights. They love making progress, and eating well.

*They have their shit together. Both work as engineers, and are never seem to settle with the comfort of the same job - they have the drive to chase knowledge (and the dollars), and they go for what they want. I know this has given them core confidence to walk through the world with good self esteem, which is attractive.

*I think this matters less than the others, but it contributes to some of their mojo: they dress as well as possible at all times, and they have interest in material things like cool cars. It's good to be interested in things like this because the passion radiates and draws people in.

Does this sound familiar? These are things that anyone can to improve themselves - make the best of what you have, because it is probably a lot more than you realise. Become someone you love being, strive to be useful to society, and go out and and approach girls!

Yes, MANY. I even had a Bangladeshi Coaching Assistant who wasn't tall, had an accent, and did well. The difference between you and him is he would never have asked this question. He just doesn't have this self-limiting belief. If you think being Indian (or short, fat, tall, thin, whatever) is a problem, then for you it is.

The only brown dudes in my city who do well are the ones driving lamborghinis or they're built and look like models. This really depends on the type of girls you want as well tho

The Indian guys I see that do really well tend to "look white." Lighter skin, and facial features that are more Aryan.

Western beauty standards have really taken over the world and are pretty much subconsciously implanted in every person who's exposed to western media.

I hate to pull out the stereotypes but, at least where I live, Indian doctors and business owners aren't exactly uncommon.
