I guess this is a multi-layered question. When making eye contact with a woman I feel like more times than not she breaks eye contact by looking to the side, not looking down. This suggests disinterest, no? I don’t consider myself to be bad looking but that is subjective.

Obviously everything starts when the conversation takes place but I get approach anxiety when I don’t get a positive response as subtle as it may be. Not saying I expect a 100% return of every woman I look at but want to make sure I am taking the right steps.

So my question is should I power through and not worry about how she breaks eye contact, do I invest in improving overall appearance (clothing, shoes, products), both?
