I have learned that anything is possible in life. Life is incredible.

That being said.. lots of times are fantasies are not aligned with reality..

And we are hidden behind ego delusions.

Yes, but it's more out of your control than under it.

Say you're applying for colleges/universities. You got rejected by your first choice. And your 2nd, and 3rd choice. So you went with #4.

Skip a few years, you're in your junior year. You've settled into the life you've made on campus. Networked a bunch, and got some internships under your belt. Even got a few good relationships with some companies that might hold you down when you leave. Made a few good friends, some you know you'll have stick around after college. You've also made a name for yourself as quite the lothario with the women. What a lovable scoundrel.

You get to your room after class one day and see an envelope from your 1st choice. They're offering you to transfer and finish with them. You'll graduate at the same pace you're currently moving, and all credits will transfer easy breezy.

Do you go for it? Really think about that before you answer the supposed answer so quickly.

The morals: You've got to recognize the girl has been through some things with you, and then after you. Don't think you can just do a little this, a little that and she'll be back under your spell. Don't underestimate our nature to stick to what's comfortable vs risking the unknown. And you know how the womenz feel about risk.

Also, don't forget about THE FRIEND ZONE.

Its entirely possible, but not easy. It wont just "happen" by hanging out more again. It sounds like you have a pretty good idea of what you're going to do, so feel free to disregard some of this.

Anyways, look back at what you did/didn't do last time and how you can change it. Truly look at what went wrong the first time (too clingy, not aggressive enough, too predictable etc.) Take greater risks because the reality is if you fail you will be in the same place you are now. There's nothing wrong with having a cool girl around that's just a friend. Just don't get too hung up on her because you think shes a cool girl/shes your friend. There are a lot of cool girls, ones you haven't even met yet.

One thing I have noticed is you sound a little unsure about when or if you are going to hang out. With her, be decisive. You are doing this activity at this time and if she would like to join awesome, if not that's cool too because you will go with someone else. OR straight up ask her out again, but do something different. An activity, go to a sporting event. Do something where there is a chance to get closer not only physically but in a bonding way. Just getting ice cream is boring and overdone.
