It honestly shouldn't matter at all. I know of a hot 24 year old girl who went out with a 19 year old guy with braces. If you feel it is a problem, then it will be a problem, as people will sense your insecurity. So don't give a fuck about it and be more fun than everyone else. However, if the kids are your college are immature and tease you, learn to genuinely laugh with them at yourself. If you can't fix something, feature it. Make people think it's cool to have braces.

Obviously, you having asked the question implies that it will affect it, as a person without braces looks better than a person with them.

Especially a grown ass 20 year old.

This means your looks aren't going to be as good as they are going to be if you didn't have braces.

However, you being insecure about it won't help.

So, basically, yes, it will slightly lower your success, but being insecure about it will lower it even more.

No matter what people tell you, looks DO matter. If they didn't, the fashion industry wouldn't exist.
