Can a person with Asperger syndrome / autism be a great pickup artist?

I'm officially diagnosed with Asperger's. Two things.

First thing - DO NOT TAKE ANY SHORTCUTS. If you don't understand what you're doing, your actions are going to start getting more and more impractical and then you'll become a crazy clown. Focus on long-term goals like learning the nuances of body language, female thought patterns, and most importantly, deeply understanding how the autistic brain is different so you can address those differences. For example, we instinctively use logic in day to day conversation...I could write 50 pages on the pitfalls of using conventional logic, meant to be used in Introduction to Electrical Engineering, in social situations. When you do this on a date, you confuse "giving an unsolicited explanation of some random conversational topic that was actually pretty insignificant in hindsight" with "being a badass she spreads her legs for 3 hours later".

Second thing - as someone whose experiences range from making out and taking her back to my apartment on the first date to her literally walking away - you're going to get rejected a lot, plain and simple. They're going to be brutal because you won't know what's socially acceptable, until you manually learn what is. The best thing you can do is to keep putting yourself out there, without destroying your social capital along the way (don't shit where you eat - be it at work, school, gym, etc). The worst thing you can do is recede back into your own cave and let your social skills erode...which encourages receding back even more (negative feedback loop). The opposite positive feedback loop is what you want.

Objective value is not hard for us to build. We can master skills way better than any normal person can. We can lift and dress well and be anywhere from ugly to sexy like anyone else. So if anything, you can always fall back on that. Social market value is a whole different ball game...you'll be working on that shit till you die. If you want to truly be at the top, be prepared to put in the time.

We have a very unique set of challenges. As long as you're putting yourself out there, you haven't lost the game.

I suppose if you're on the higher end of the spectrum you could be taught a system of cause and effect pairs that would lead up to holding the attention of the opposite sex.

I was diagnosed with mild Asperger syndrome. I suppose, as of right now, I'm not very good at pickup myself but someone I really resonate with is RSDTyler. He talks about his early life a few times and from the sound of it I'm pretty sure he has/had Asperger potential. I've watched a ton of his videos, they really help me get on trace and think, I haven't watched a single one not worth seeing.

I'm also mildly autistic and I can tell you it's a HUGE disadvantage.. for me at least.

I don't know what to say, or when to say it. I don't empathize properly.

For me it's pretty much guaranteed I will have the V-card for life. I don't think there's any use in trying to approach women, except to make myself feel more pain and embarrassment.

Depends. People on the autism spectrum lack oxytocin, which is responsible for empathy, and you need empathy to pick up people. Of course, orgasm releases oxytocin. Maybe rub one out before you text her? :) Though my recommendation to you would be to hang out with people more. Anybody works, but ideally charismatic people. As much as you can.

Also, LOOK GOOD. Looks matter a lot more than you expect. Subscribe to a men's fashion magazine, look up tips online, whatever. But a good sense of fashion will stimulate interest, and maybe attraction.
