Hey man, don't worry. At least you're not over here complaining that you didn't ask for her number just because she has a boyfriend. At least you didn't say 'what if', because you took the plunge and did what you want, rather than what other people taught you to do. If you were her boyfriend, wouldnt you be pissed at her for pretty much flirting and leading on another guy the whole night? Ignore the fact that you probably wouldnt choose to play video games instead of going out with your gf. I think her actions show that she cant be trusted all that much. If she truly does have a boyfriend, then what the fuck is she doing flirting with you? Shes not being as loyal as some people may think. If she doesnt have a bf and is using it as "smokescreen", then I would personally find that extremely immature and a huge turn off. White lies are still lies, and if shes willing to flirt with other guys while having this bf, then whats to say she wouldnt do the same to you if you were her bf.

I may be overthinking this, but I am interpreting this as she was interested but had a boyfriend.

Sounds to me like she was interested, her "boyfriend" was at home playing games, what leads me to believe she is not happy with him and just looking for something new, or... and this is my favorite, she has no boyfriend at all.

it's up to you if you respect her having a "boyfriend", but in this case, she was most likely very much interested.

If it's one thing I learned about people, it's that they don't always tell the truth.

Sometimes there's a boyfriend. Sometimes there's a boyfriend who she's looking to replace. And sometimes there's no boyfriend.

The boyfriend comment is often made as a smokescreen to keep men at bay until the woman decides if she wants to move forward with the new guy, or not.

Pay attention more towards her actions than her words. If her actions suggest you move forward, go for it.
