She doesn't deserve an explanation. Cut all contact and never tell her why. That would be the worst for her, and best for you. Anything else will soften the blow. Yes, that includes you blowing up and telling her she's a whore. That will just make it easier for her to blame you. She will want something, anything, to latch on to to make someone else to blame. Any interaction from you from this point on will help enable that.
