It's been 3 years. You've probably built up all these fantasy situations in your head.

I hate to break it to you, but you'll probably be unhappy with her reaction to you asking her out since you have all this scenarios built up. But on the other hand, just fucking go for it. Ask her to go on a hike with you or something. Why has it taken so long?

Here's what will happen if you continue the way you are going: you'll feel incredibly anxious every time you see her, until the day somebody else asks her out and becomes her boyfriend; then you'll feel like the biggest shit on earth every time you see them being sweet to each other. I can tell you from my experience.

Pretty sad, isn't it? How can we prevent it? Look, I doubt any of the motivational posts here will give you the courage and energy to approach if they haven't already; mindlessly browsing this sub on a daily basic only makes you miserable. Again, personal experience.

So, I'll give you a deadline: you have TWO DAYS from now on to greet her and get your feelings out of your system. That's it, your objective is just to say "Hi, I think you are very cute." If you don't by the end of January 1, then your new objective will be to start checking out every girl you pass by in your daily life until your subconscious realizes how many beautiful girls there are out there. At that point you can come back to browsing this subreddit, find the most suitable starting guides and follow them.

Never ask out a pretty girl who wears yoga pants with sexy boots. (Not saying your crush is that girl, but it sounds like it.) They will turn down any guy who isn't perfect. There's no point.. unless you're perfect.

Note: Just felt like saying this, it was on my mind, probably doesn't apply here. I guess my point is.. with these girls who stir up the lust storm so strongly in us all.. the best we can do is fantasize, and that's it.
