I went on a few first dates last week that seemed to go well. All the girls have been texting me on and off the last few days. I'd like to see them again but I'm a bit concerned about seeming too available. Nobody really wants to be with someone who doesn't have other options. So how on earth do you strike the balance between making something happen and escalating, but also not seeming like you're going way out of your way to spend time with the girl?

I have yet to arrange a Friday or Saturday night date - I know people say to avoid these times at the beginning but at what point does this become an option? Also what do you do on the second, third, fourth dates, etc? I typically do drinks on the first date but how do I keep things interesting after that?

I mean, I do have other things going on, but this makes arranging dates a bit difficult because we're working with a pretty small window where both people are available. I understand that as the guy I have to lead and arrange dates, but it seems like this puts me in the position of appearing to be the one to make concessions.
