Posting this here because I can't post on the parent sub yet. I'm 20M, chewing the red pill and swallowing it at my own pace. Initial results from applying RP principles to my life are promising, but I doubt that's a surprise to any of you. :P The problem is my liberal feminist mom, who is as BP as they come (except for the fact she's working her ass off as a lawyer to support me through college). Whenever I'm talking with her and I mention the application of RP principles (not identifying them as such, just stating what exactly I did), she throws a temper tantrum that is completely and utterly exhausting to have to deal with, even though I maintain frame through it all. I'm sick and tired of it--it makes me not want to do things with her, talk with her, or even be around her. She's always been like this--controlling, fearful, overbearing--but it's gotten particularly bad in recent months. But I do want a good relationship with my mom, so how do I achieve that?
