I've heard that here and read that..

If you mean you read these complaints in seddit, then you have the wrong impression. But that's not surprising. The vast majority of those complaints are posted by just a few guys. I just caught one guy posting this question for the 5th time in seddit, and discovered that he posted this question 15 times in other subreddits. He is definitely caught up in self-limiting beliefs, and repeatedly pushing those beliefs onto seddit is not acceptable.

One of the central ideas of pickup is that you can approach people who are "out of your league" because nobody is out of your league. They might be used to a specific type of approach, so you have to know how those approaches work, and work with it, or work around it.

So the concepts that might work for you are "value game" and "social circle game." You can show that you aren't intimidated by women with self-perceived high value. Or you can work your way into their social circles. Start reading the basic concepts in our sidebar, and look for those two topics as you study.

I would say its a bit of both. while there are certainly sorority girls who won't even look in the direction of GDI's, theres plenty of em out there who will give you a chance and more if you can actually muster the balls to approach them. as a GDI myself, it can definitely be challenging at times to talk to sorority chicks who seem really cliquey. chat up the ones you have class with and go from there

It really depends on the university itself and its Greek scene but generally speaking, most large universities located in college towns are going to have the status conscious types. Generally speaking though, if it is a school where people really value their Greek Life and one where Greek Life has abnormal amounts of power (Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, etc.) to where the fraternity guys are sons of men of power, it is going to be a definite uphill battle that I have never seen anyone win.

Generally speaking though, sorority girls value status more than girls from any other scenes in college if not the world. Problem is, in colleges where status is pretty much given to athletes and fraternity brothers in the cool houses, that status can be very hard to get.

I've heard from older guys on here who wanted to get sorority sisters, for them it is a hard battle to win since older guy trying to get status in college scene = automatic loser than needs to act his age.
