This will be my first post here-

The area that seems to be killing me is non face to face communication.

After doing some much needed reading, I realized that placing restrictions on the kind of texting, calling, emotional openness, availability I let myself show was actually just ruining some awesome chances I had. Still-

Before a date, if a girl tells me shes busy, I let her offer another time/place or I just figure its over. After a hookup/ date or two the dynamic usually shifts a little and girls tend to warm up a bit. At this point should I be reacting differently to obstacles like

me "hey, are you gonna be around here tonight?"

her- "sorry work killing me this week, im super busy getting stuff together."

This is a text from a girl I met through friends, stuff in common, hooked up a couple times, shes got some ridiculous number of instagram/internet followers, which is essentially her job so she is probably legitimately busy.

I responded with something to the effect of "no problem"

What are peoples experiences with this stuff? At this point do you just throw out another time, wait and let her do the work, or is this just a who gives a shit do what you feel like situation?
