Crush on girl for 2 years and finally decided to do it. She seemed happy, we kept making eye contact in those 2 years. Decided to write this to keep track or something. She recently followed me on instagram outta nowhere, literally had no reason to do it, I followed her months ago and she only recently followed me back. Saw her and her friend leaving class so I approached both, talked to her directly, her friend knew what was going on and decided to back off and let us talk. Was pretty nervous but she had a smile on and what not, seemed to ask questions aswell. Her friend eventually walked away to her other friend and the main girl decided to walk with me and stand next to me as we talked. Figured it was time I'd finally ask, "want to meet up for coffee tomorrow?" and she said, "tomorrow I'm busy, but here I'll give you my number." She offered it without me even asking lol... Was shaking like crazy, got the number, and said "I'll text you later" as I walked away. Texted her that night, never got a reply, don't know whether she just didn't think she needed to reply to the message, had no idea how to, forgot, or just didn't receive it...

It just never made sense at how it all went down. But my message was, "Hey, it's _______, we spoke earlier" didn't need to send that exact one but I was stupid and did. Don't know whether sending another would count as double text at this point or not, but regardless, anyone know what I couldve done wrong on my part, if anything?

I asked her about her class, then spoke about colleges, spoke about where we're from, and our last year as seniors in high school. She seemed more than happy that I did it, just don't know why no response lol. Might see her tomorrow I dunno yet. Posted here before, but decided to post whole scenario for any insight on it. By the way, I am not the most social guy ever. Haven't even tried to make any lady friends unless we had class together, they sat next to me, and they talked to me lol. Missed out on a lot but trying to change that and not look back. Happy I got it over with, but bummed on the fact that I couldve gotten with my 2 year long crush had I sent a better message or some shit lol
