So I've been reading up on this War Bride Theory, which essentially is the belief that women can recover from emotional trauma quicker and move on from past relationships quicker. This is due to evolutionary advantages i.e. when invading tribes of men killed each other off and the left-over women were forced to adapt to the new men. This is evidenced today by women suffering less from PTSD than men and also by them being far more likely to bond with captors (Stockholm Syndrome). This is good, I like the science behind it.

My question to you my dear redpillers is why did men not evolve this ability to easily detach themselves emotionally from partners? Wouldn't women have been raped, murdered, died of childbirth etc and would this not have made us mentally tougher?

Also the fact that men suffer more from PTSD is used to back this theory up. If men evolved to be aggressive, dominant and violent then how come we suffer more from PTSD? Surely it would be the other way around, i.e. women suffer more from this? Am I missing something here? Wouldn't the process of repeatedly murdering and invading competing tribes blunted our susceptibility to emotional trauma and stress? Why do women suffer less from PTSD compared to men!? This just seems bizarre to me.
