I'm a pretty shy guy. I usually only get up courage to interact with people after a few drinks. Lately though I've been feeling "older" and just less cautious of how people view me, and it seems to come out when I'm tired, a lot more outwardly moody.

I got nearly black out drunk at the bar with my friend and his girlfriend. Started out feeling great. Ended up closing down the place down. He dared my drunk self to talk to a cute waitress getting off a shift.

She took the first compliment well but then I said some bullshit like "let's go make out in the back". Just sloppy nonsense. Then brushed off the " I have a boyfriend " line. I think she ducked into the back after that. I Definitely wasn't paying attention or being respectful and I'm sure likely made her uncomfortable.

I basically never actually flirt and have zero game. Do you bounce back from this kind of mistake? I feel like a douchebag for being so obnoxious andI hate blaming being drunk on any behavior.

I feel like there's some real bitterness that just comes out no matter how much I try to be positive.

Not much of a question I guess, just wondering if anyone else has gotten out of a similar shitty mindset and if there are any tips. It's scary feeling that a few beers can turn me into such an asshole and unpredictably.
