Around 6 weeks ago I discovered this sub, read some of the books and went out on multiple occasions in attempts to approach. I never actually approached but I felt a lot more confident. I made an attempt to go out and at least try to muster the courage to approach a girl. However right now, I feel as if I've lost all my confidence, whenever I go out my eyes immediately dart away after eye contact with cute girls, in fact people in general. I try and make up excuses to get out of social situations and will pretend to look busy when a cute girl walks past me in the library/ at school etc.

What I'm wondering is how can I return to the previous version of myself. To me it appears to be a 'game save' from a sort of video game. I want to reload the stage where I was at, as that stage was closer to the final level ( final level being, going on a date, meeting up with her etc.). I understand that the PROCESS is more important than the actual OUTCOME. But I've gone backwards in the process and I feel if I don't practice at least 3-4 times a week ill be back at square one (don't make an attempt at all, sit at home and be content with mediocrity). I've read a lot, if not most of the material this subreddit has to offer and during my peak it waa useful and motivational however now it just feels like useless informstion. Which it certainly isnt. I understand that the process is slow but I've just felt like someone flicked the reset switch and I've gotten that debilitating fear of people and girls again. Really not sure what to do?
