generic shit test response

My shit test go-to list:

First, never respond to shit tests via text. Act like you didn't receive it. Even engaging in a texted shit test is a fail, because she knows you will stop whatever you are doing to argue with her and play her games. Don't do it. Ever.
If she's jabbing your personality, habits or traits in an attempt to push your buttons, my response is usually

"That's why you love me."

or "I know. You have shitty taste in men!" said casually with a shit-eating grin.

If the shit test is about other women, I tell her

"Yea, I could easily get with her, but I choose to be with you."

or "Yea, she's pretty, but you're probably better in bed."

or "Yea, she's hot. But she probably wouldn't treat me as good as you." These statements remind them that you are aware of your options and they are just lucky to have you.

If the shit test is about the past, past arguments or rehashing old feels, my responses are usually

"I still feel the same way I did the last several times you brought this up, and I'll still feel the same the next several times."

or "Since we're bringing up old painful shit, can we talk about when my grandma died next?"

or "When was this? Wait, what happened? Who said that? And then what happened? Ok, why are we wasting energy talking about this?" These are good ways to point out the absurdity of living in the past.

Those are some of my standard answers for her shit tests. Use them at your own peril.
