So I have older brothers and any girls who find out I'm related to them always say to me "oh my god you look so different to him/them".

Sure, there are playful replies to this. But honestly, why is this even coming up at all?

You should be getting them to talk about themselves. And one side-effect is that you usually end up controlling where the conversation goes.

In any event, as long as you don't go serious when girls bring this up, you'll be fine. You DON'T need to have some perfect response. It's about how you respond emotionally, not the content of your response.

Like, are you good natured and easy going or funny, or serious and defensive?

Im wondering what a potential playful reply to this could be? I've used "is that a good or a bad thing then?" before.

Don't use this. It's needy and asking them to validate you. You shouldn't need them to give their approval, which is what this kind of question is about.
