Should i approach on campus?

Your going to have to take this shit seriously man. Speaking from experience being known as the 'pickup' guy isn't a reputation you want as an introvert. If your more equipped to deal with tough social situations, being known as the 'pickup guy' can be useful, as it will turn many women on if you handle the white knight bashing well.

However if your anything like me, you want to spend a good amount of time (start with 20 hours of focused effort) outside of the city/town your living in. Anonymity is key when starting out in this kind of thing. There is plenty of harmless socialising you can do at university by just being friendly and nice. You won't get many people who love you and want to have sex with you, however its somewhere to start and who knows you may find 'the one'.

My personal experience showed that having anonymity in the early stages helped me get out of my shell, put myself out there, and get used to dealing with bad reactions and rejection which is probably why your asking weather you should do this on campus or not. I think you're worried about the reputation which tells me you're very similar to how I was.

Yes.

Kill the self-limiting beliefs. If you think you will get blown out, you will. Work on confidence. You can make friends with women INSTEAD of dating them or sleeping with them, but this is the wrong subboard for that.

What are you doing to become more social? Approach 10 women a day for a few months and let us now how it goes.

There's nothing wrong with approaching girls on campus, but find a way to make it not-creepy. You might want to go indirect here and find something to ask them that's related to something you do on campus. Speaking of which, join more groups, clubs and get involved with things. That could also give you reason to go around recruiting people for something, or just simply inviting them to the parties you know about. If you were new to campus you could say "Hey guys, I'm new to campus, I was wondering what kind of parties most people go to on the weekends? Are you guys involved with the sports teams?" I would have to know more about your situation to come up with something. It's all about brainstorming every week to come up with better and better ideas! That's the fun of it :p If you take psychology class for example, you could write a paper that involves interviewing students on campus - boom, now you have another reason.

Come up with strategies! Let me know if you need someone to brainstorm with you.
